We'll Always Have Paris .. Pt 2

So our first full day in Paris and we headed straight to the Eiffel Tower in an attempt to beat the later ques, It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful the city is and how different it is to home! After some time admiring the views we came back down to earth and headed towards the reason we were there... shopping! Avenue Montaigne being the first port of call, a lot of people think the Champs Elysee is the main shopping street in Paris which I guess it is but nothing can quite beat Montaigne for me, housing Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior and Prada to name a few this is the destination for some serious window lusting! We then skipped past the Champs Elysee to another of my favorite streets, Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honor, This is home to more of the greats like Hermes and Louboutin. Louboutin was a special stop for me as I was lucky enough to have been allowed to have my Christmas money early and actually buy a pair! Now this means Santa wont be stopping at my house on Christmas eve this year but i'll have my beautiful shoes to look at instead! I went for a classic black leather peep toe with a double stack platform for some added edge, they're surprisingly comfortable which is important as they are now my go to shoe.

On the evening we headed back out to my favorite street again Avenue Montaigne, now this is home to one of the most amazing hotels I've ever seen, Plaza Athnee, It is the infamous hotel that non other that Ms Bradshaw herself stays in in the final series of Sex and The City, It is also where The Devil Wears Prada is filmed, so you know its gonna be good. Unfortunately we were only there to have a quick cocktail in the hotel bar but walking through the ridiculous luxury made us extremely sad to go back to our very budget hotel we were calling home for a few days. The bar itself was beautiful, we were seated and given iPads to browse the vast cocktail menus, we went for a classic Pina Colada and paying homage to Carrie, I had a Cosmo, yet these weren't just any cocktails they were ice lollies! As someone that loves a good novelty item this was right up my street! After one cocktail and realising our budgets sadly couldn't stretch to a second we headed back to the hotel ready for our second busy day in beautiful Paris.
